Until your god pays taxes…
Guys this is really important.
CBS just posted an article saying that 20 states have petitioned to secede from the American union now that Obama is president again. This means, that if they reach 25,000 signatures in 30 days, the petition can be reviewed by the government administration.
The states that have petitioned to secede are as the following: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
Texas already has over 22,000 signatures and if they have enough support they could very well be removed from the United States. This is very important guys, please signal boost this, tell your parents. This effects the entire country and everyone needs to know.
You realize online petitions are worthless, right?
And it doesn’t mean anything if every single citizen of the state signs it?
Because that’s not how the process of secession from the union works.Do they not teach civics and history at your school?
Are you seriously asking if they taught civics in history in an American public school?

The War on Women infographic, put together by NARAL.
And the attack seems to have ramped up even more for 2012. They are REALLY making a big push here across the board, and it seems coordinated and well organized. We have to double down on our own efforts to fight this crap with equal energy every time it pops up. This is a “war” that they can not be allowed to win. ~ Steve

SOPA author back and worse than ever
Tyler HolmarAnother day, another threat to internet freedom. According to International Business Times, beloved Texas Representative Lamar Smith is the author of a new bill that includes extreme surveillance provisions, and a name that will make opponents sound like criminals: H.R. 1981 (bump that last digit up three times for a more fitting title), or the ‘Protecting Children From Internet Pornographers Act of 2011.’
The new name has outraged many opponents of SOPA and other bills that could bring more government control to the internet, like PIPA and ACTA. It’s hard to imagine the whole world turning out against a bill with the words ‘protect’ and ‘children’ in the title, regardless of the actual contents of the bill.
In the words of Business Insider’s David Seaman, it’s “just a B.S. name so that politicians in the House and Senate are strong-armed into voting for it, even though it contains utterly insane 1984-style Big Brother surveillance provisions.” Ouch….click on the title to continue reading this enraging story.
Someone, please, take this idiot away and put him away with the rest of the tyrants
From EndoftheAmericanDream.com…
Global Internet censorship is here. SOPA and PIPA have been stopped (at least for now) in the United States, but a treaty known as ACTA (the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) is far worse than either of them. ACTA was quietly signed by Barack Obama back on October 1st, 2011 and most Americans have never even heard of it. But it could mean the end of the Internet as we know it. This new treaty gives foreign governments and copyright owners incredibly broad powers.
I wonder if this will pick up steam, it could be interesting.
